Dallas Cowboys Hall of Famer Larry Allen Dies at 52

The former lineman was on vacation with his family in Mexico when he tragically passed away.

The Dallas Cowboys and the football world have lost a legend. Larry Allen was one of the biggest parts of the Cowboys offense from 1994 to 2005, helping win a Super Bowl in 1995.

There was an immediate outpouring from fans, media and athletes about the sudden loss. Many shared some of Allen’s most memorable plays.

This one really hits hard, especially for someone that grew up watching the Cowboys every single Sunday. I lost my mom in 2021, she had had a major stroke in 2016 and that made watching games with her difficult. Listening to John Madden and Pat Summerall call games was the sound of my childhood, and the loss of Allen feels like losing something more than just a football player. Rest in peace legend.
