After an awful Week 1 loss to the New England Patriots, Week 2, the Bengals went to Arrowhead, to take on the Kansas City Chiefs. The Bengals are built to beat them, and they know it.
All they have to do is:
Execute the game right.
Not have bad calls. Yeah, I’m talking to the refs right now.
And most important, at least with all that’s happening right now, DON’T GET INJURED!!!
Unfortunately though, after a much better game from the Bengals, but a questionable call on a pass at the end of the game, they still weren’t able to come away with the win.
Week 2, the Kansas City Chiefs
The Bengals looked a lot more prepared for this contest against the Chiefs. They weren’t as sluggish as they seemed in Week 1, Maybe in week 1, instead of preparing for the Patriots, thinking they would be easy, they really prepared for this one. Who knows?
Watching this game, it was kinda looking as if the Bengals, just might win. They were ahead for most of it, holding Mahomes to under 200 yards, creating 3 turnovers.
It all came down to the end of the game, when the ball was thrown to Rashee Rice. A play in which a Cowboys star defensive player said HE thought was an incompletion. But the referee called pass interference on rookie Daijahn Anthony, giving the ball back to Kansas City. We all know what happened next. Andy Reid might play very conservative, but he knows how to win.
Wait until the Bengals are fully healthy AND they’ve had practice. Good days are coming soon. This week we hope!
Week 3, The Bengals are looking to Pounce Back. Monday Night Football, Bring on the Commanders!
Tonight, it’s Monday Night Football in the Jungle. Paycor stadium will be rockin’!
The Lights, the Sound of the Crowd, and the Excitement of a Prime-Time Game!
The Bengals will hopefully go into this game focused and ready. They REALLY need this game. The team is back together and healthy for the most part. They have the home game advantage under the big lights of a prime-time Monday Night Football game, AND they have the experience of being there.
It’ll be the first game of this magnitude for rookie Jayden Daniels. When that Monday Night Football music comes on, will he be ready for it? Or will it be too much for him to overcome?
Only a few more hours ‘til we find out how this game plays out. I am sooo ready!! The stadium will be so loud!
I’m thinking the Bengals win by 10 and Ja’Marr gets 2 TD’s. What do you think?
